What resolution do I get?
The largest version Instagram stores, which is 1080 pixels on the long edge for standard posts. Instagram does not retain the original camera file, so no tool can return anything larger.
Can I download all photos in a carousel at once?
Yes. Paste the carousel link and use 'Download all' to save every slide in sequence.
Why is the photo smaller than I expected?
Instagram resizes on upload and keeps only its own version. A 4000-pixel original becomes a 1080-pixel stored file, and 1080 is what any downloader can return. Anything advertising a larger size is upscaling.
Is this better than a screenshot?
Yes, materially. A screenshot captures your screen — cropped to the viewport, re-compressed, with interface elements baked in. This returns the stored JPG itself, at full dimensions, exactly as uploaded.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
