Yes. Every tool is free with no download cap, no premium tier and no trial. We do not ask for an email address or a payment method.

No. There is no signup of any kind. Paste a link and download — that is the entire flow.

No. IGDownPro is a website. Installing a browser extension for this is actively worse, because an extension with access to instagram.com can also read your logged-in session.

All of them. iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS, in any modern browser.

In the app, tap the paper-plane share icon under the post and choose 'Copy link', or use the ⋯ menu in the top-right. On the web, click ⋯ beneath the post and choose 'Copy link', or copy the URL from the address bar.

instagram.com/p/…, /reel/…, /reels/…, legacy /tv/…, /share/… and bare profile URLs or usernames for the profile picture tool. Active Story and Highlight URLs are not supported. Tracking parameters like ?igsh= are ignored.

Copy the Reel link from its share menu, paste it into the box and press Download. You get the available MP4, with audio when present and no watermark added. The Instagram Reels Downloader page explains the process in more depth.

Yes. Paste the carousel link and every slide appears as its own card with a download button, plus the option to save them all in sequence.

Yes. A downloaded Reel stays an MP4 with its available audio track intact. IGDownPro does not currently create a separate MP3 file.

Desktop browsers save to your Downloads folder. Android saves to Downloads. iPhone Safari saves to the Files app — open the download, tap share, then 'Save Video' or 'Save Image' to move it into Photos.

Most often the account is private, the post was deleted, the story expired, or the copied link points at a profile rather than a specific post. Instagram also rate-limits bursts of requests, so waiting a minute and retrying often works.

Never, under any circumstances. Downloading a public post requires no authentication. Any site or app that asks for your Instagram credentials to 'enable downloads' is attempting to steal your account.

No. After a link resolves, your browser fetches the preview and file directly from Instagram's CDN. The media bytes are not written to our server and no copy is retained by IGDownPro.

We do not keep a server-side download history. Up to five recent links are stored in your own browser, and you can clear that list. A normalized post key and CDN URLs may remain in an in-memory server cache for up to two hours.

IGDownPro does not use your logged-in Instagram session or interact with the post. Your browser requests the final file from Instagram's CDN, so Instagram may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and browser details.

No, and this is a deliberate design choice rather than a missing feature. Reaching private content would require an authorised session, which would mean handling your credentials. We will not build that.

It depends on the content, purpose and your jurisdiction. Public visibility does not grant permission to reuse a work. Republishing or monetising someone else's content without permission may infringe copyright and violate platform terms. This is general information, not legal advice.

Not without the creator's permission. Copyright stays with whoever made the content. If you have permission, credit them clearly and link to the original.
