Why does my saved IG reel still have a watermark?
Because it was already in the video. Creators who cross-post from TikTok upload a file with that branding burned into the frames, so it is part of the picture rather than an overlay. Removing it would mean cropping or blurring the image.
Can I download a reel that has no in-app Download button?
If the reel is on a public account, yes — the in-app button is a creator setting, not a lock on the file. Private accounts are a different matter and stay out of reach by design.
Does the creator get notified?
IGDownPro never touches your logged-in session and never interacts with the reel. Instagram controls its own notification behaviour and can change it, so treat that as 'no interaction from us' rather than a guarantee of anonymity.
What is the difference between an IG reel and an IG video?
